IBCSD TEEBAgriFood Operational Guidelines for Business Publication

Healthy ecosystems are crucial for the long-term viability of the agriculture and food system. It is evident that the system is highly dependent upon the value which nature is provided. The fact is that the agri-food system is not only dependent on but also impacts natural, human and social capital. The global UNEP initiative, TEEBAgriFood project, has been developing guidelines for the private sectors to promote sustainable business practices through capitals-based approach.

This draft of TEEBAgriFood Operational Guidelines for Business has been translated in Bahasa to support agri-food businesses in Indonesia to apply the capitals approach. Although, the layout of this translation deviates from the original version and will be updated in the final version. In 2022, the final version of the Guidelines in Bahasa will take into account the feedback provided during the roundtables consultation.
